This is seriously the only burger recipe you will ever need. Lawdy, the smells making this will get the salivary glands going. Reheat these bad boys at work, guaranteed office envy.

This delicious recipe can be made with any kind of meat and cooked a variety of ways. You really cannot get anymore versatile then this and the bonus it comes together really quickly!
- 1 pound turkey, chicken, beef, pork, lamb, venison, bison, etc... ground
- 1/2 half red onion diced
- 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbs rosemary, fresh or 3/4 teaspoon dried
- 1 tbs garlic crushed
- 1 tsp fennel seed
- 3/4 tsp black pepper ground
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
- 1/4 cup Gorgonzola cheese optional
Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.
Using an ice cream scoop or similar object make equal sized burger patties. Use your hands form patties into uniform thickness and size.
Broil, pan fry, or grill over medium heat for about 10-30 minutes, until juices run clear. Cook time will vary depending on mode of cooking and temperature used.
For meatballs: use a smaller cookie scoop and roll hands. Place on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake in oven for 20-30 minutes or until cooked through at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Note: Let cook completely if you put the meatballs in the freezer.
I like using cookie and ice cream scoops to get more uniform patties.
